Genesee Street Voices is thrilled to announce their upcoming concert, “Rise Up!”. Join us for an evening of uplifting music on Friday, April 17th, 2026 at 7:00 PM.Over 50 voices accompanied by a full band will perform a special selection of songs designed to build resilience and bring joy and strength to our community in times of hardship:
* "Rise Up" by Andra Day (Arr. Mac Huff)
* "What Was I Made For" by Billie Eilish (featured in the movie "Barbie", Arr. Jennifer Lucy Cook)
* "Rainbow Connection" by "The Muppets"
* "Mr. Blue Sky" by the Electric Light Orchestra (Arr. Roger Emerson)
* "Defying Gravity" from "Wicked" (Arr. Roger Emerson)
* And more...
The concert will be held at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, located on Williams St in Auburn, NY. We kindly request a suggested donation of $20 per person. Children 17 and under are welcome to attend free of charge. Proceeds to benefit Genesee Street Voices.
