++ COMING UP IN SPRING ++ 25. APRIL ++RIPSHIP, a sci-fi psych-rock duo, now based in Melbourne, Australia, have been questing to become the loudest two-piece band in the Southern Hemisphere since 2019. With a room-shaking, battle-tested live performance, they have headlined multiple tours across New Zealand and opened for heavyweights such as Jack White and Osees.
Every song is a unique trip: sugary hooks wax and wane to reveal wonky polyrhythmic grooves, guitar tones that growl and shimmer, lyrics that loop in infinite recursion, spelling omens for the end of the world.
In February 2025, their second full length LP „Crawling Chorus“ was released to vinyl via @1to12records.
