As part of our Slow Crafts Club we are running a Riot Girl badgemaking session in the Holding Cell at the Bailiff Bar in The Old Courts!
The Riot Grrrl movement emerged in the early 1990s to address sexism in the punk scene. The movement believed in girls actively engaging in cultural production creating their own music fanzines rather than following existing materials. In this DIY spirit we'll be making our own badges using up-cycled collage materials whilst giving you the chance to prioritise creativity, mindfulness and community.
Each ticket allows you to make 4 large badges (77mm) and 2 small badges (45mm).
No badge making experience required and all materials will be provided!
