Get ready to rock some serious finger candy! This class is a four-session deep dive into the awesome world of ring making. It’s perfect for beginners and intermediate students who want to learn and improve their metalsmithing and design skills. We will start with two basic rings: a textured band and a wire ring. This allows students to try all the basic techniques with quick, easy rings. Students then get to create the final two using more advanced bezel-setting techniques and stones they pick! Skills learned in this class include sawing, filing, bezel setting, soldering, forming, and finishing. Participants will leave with 4 rings and many skills they can apply to other jewelry forms.
