Our presenter this month will be RIMH Field Trip Coordinator, Eli S. Here are some wonderful details for his presentation “Rockhounding Methods”, one you do not want to miss. ⚒️⚓️⚒️
Do you ever find yourself asking questions like "what kind of cool rocks can I find near me?", "how do I know where to dig?", and "what tools will I need?". RIMH Field Trip Coordinator Eli Sullivan will be answering some of those questions, but more importantly teaching you how to answer those questions yourself. His presentation on Rockhounding Methods will cover publicly available research resources to increase your geological education as well as discuss amateur mining methods for the practical application of your newfound knowledge. Give a RockHound a rock and she's happy for a day, teach a RockHound to dig and she's happy for a lifetime.⚒️
We are going to offer for ONLY RIMH Members to bring in up to 5 Minerals/Specimens to Sell or One Flat (if selling all for one fee, as a flat will count as one item) to down size their collections & give folks an opportunity to grow their’s at the General Meetings.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
We Also encourage you to bring in Minerals/Specimens/Crystals to Donate. There will be our usual Free Raffle! If you would like to bring in Donated Minerals or Crystals for this that would be greatly appreciated! This is a great way to spread minerals/crystals to folks that may not have a collection or would like to expand their collections! This is a Free Raffle & a way to engage with one another! Spreading Mineral Love!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
