About this Event
Following a very successful RILCH-funded event in March, 'Orchid Fever', attended by more than 55 members of the public and key regional stakeholders, the Liverpool Botanic Trust and the World Museum Herbarium would like to collaborate more widely with staff at LJMU, including areas which have already shown interest in their work including Film Studies, Art History, Biological and Environmental Sciences, Education and English literature and Creative Writing. It is hoped that this event will encourage networking amongst staff with similar interests across LJMU with these important cultural partners.
The event will take place on Monday 13th May 2024, 2-4pm in JFB 127, with refreshments provided. It will begin by an introduction to the Liverpool Botanic Trust by Steve Lyus, its president, and will be followed by an introduction to the work of the Herbarium by its lead archivist, Donna Young. There will be time for questions and discussion.
