April 7 is Right to Read Day! Join us for a celebration of intellectual freedom and the essential role of public libraries! Enjoy the freedom to read whatever you want. Learn how to defend diverse stories and ways you can support our public libraries as vital community resources.
From 3:30pm ‘til 5, we’ll be reading in community. If the weather permits, we can sit outside. The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Central Michigan will be open for those who prefer to sit inside.
Around 5, we’ll head into the UU for coffee, hot cocoa, and information sharing.
All are welcome. Bring a book, bring a friend, and celebrate the right to read!
