About this Event
Knowing native habitats can help you choose the right plants for your place. This course discusses local plant communities—groups of species that naturally occur together—and their growing conditions, as well as resources to assess the conditions of your garden, including climate, soil, sunlight and space. A valuable class for beginners!
This class will be held online and recorded. Zoom login instructions will be included in the reminder emails. Registered students will have access to a recording of the class for 2 weeks after the live event.
Terrence Williams is the Nursery Technician at Theodore Payne Foundation. He is passionate toward making botanical knowledge accessible to all by helping people of various skill levels and backgrounds to get started with gardening.
This class is a Pre-Requisite for our 3-Part Design Series. Right Plant, Right Place must be taken in tandem with the design course.
