About the Show:
RIFT is a short but emotionally impactful contemporary work exploring friendship, identity, vulnerability, and the longing for connection. Set to a cinematic soundtrack and performed by an exceptional young cast, RIFT follows two girls, Lila and Serene, as they drift apart and find their way back to each other through dance.
The choreography is raw, expressive, and deeply relatable — speaking to the unspoken battles many teens face today: the pressure to be perfect, the silence of inner struggle, and the power of reconnection.
With striking visuals, contemporary storytelling, and themes that reflect the real emotional world of young people, RIFT is an ideal arts excursion that will inspire, provoke thought, and open meaningful conversations.
