Maximilian will bring his passion, humour, and decades of experience to this fascinating wine masterclass, showing you how the shape and size of your glass will change your perception of aroma and flavour.
As the world's leading glassware brand, RIEDEL's iconic comparative tasting reveals the vital role your wine glass plays in enjoyment. Gather your wine-loving friends and catch the most followed wine personality for his only public appearance in Auckland.
Each ticket includes a seat at the RIEDEL Wine Glass Experience, as well as your tasting set of RIEDEL Veloce glasses to take home after the event, valued at $300.
These four glasses will be varietally matched to four premium wines:
- Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2024
- Cloudy Bay Chardonnay 2022
- Cloudy Bay Te Wāhi Pinot Noir 2021

The 2022 RIEDEL Veloce collection is an impressive development based on state-of-the-art technology from RIEDEL’s own factory.
The series uses the most modern manufacturing to create products that are entrancingly light but offer the precision of machine production. With a fine profile, the glasses are ideal for new world wines and feature a 100mm diameter base inscribed with the designated grape variety.
