I'm wanting to put together a ride for the two children who lost their lives , as well as those who were also injured and recovering. I was born and raised in clarksville, and this hits home for me. Out of respect for the families, I feel, that it might not be appropriate for us to join the funeral possessions, but feel that we, as community supporters and family oriented folks, we need to do something. It doesn't matter if you drive a jeep, car, truck, motorcycle ,moped , or bycycle.... if your in this group, club....ALL are welcome. This is about community support and compassion for others.
Throwing this out there. I'm tentatively thinking around 11am roll-out this next Saturday. Meet at petsmart parking lot in hopkinsville. we will drive to the flying J gas station at exit 86 and meet up with additional riders and from there we will drive down fortcampbell blvd. to 101 parkway. purple heart highway, then to Kenwood middle school. I have window markers if anyone wants to write thoughtful things on their vehicles. I also plan to bring flowers and leave them at the school. I think this would be a nice show of support.
I plan to go no matter how many show/ don't show. So, please take maybe an hour or so out of your busy schedules and join me .
