About this Event
Ride to Resilience is a powerful feature length documentary that dives into the unseen mental battles faced by first responders, athletes, and everyday people who are expected to carry it all.
Following firefighter and mountain biker Steve Vanderhoek, the film traces a 2 year journey shaped by trauma, loss, and healing, both on the trail and off. The story explores how depression and PTSD can quietly build beneath a capable exterior, and how connection, vulnerability, peer support and community can become lifelines.
