Ride the Guild Wheel with Friends of the Guild Wheel and Preston Pedals on Sunday May 31st 2026
Come join us for a fun-filled day of cycling the 21 mile circular route of Preston's Guild Wheel with good company! Get ready to explore the scenic Guild Wheel alongside qualified ride leaders from Preston Pedals, and volunteers from Friends of the Guild Wheel who work all year round to maintain it.
This cycle event is the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself, make new cycle buddies, enjoy the great outdoors, and get some exercise in while you're at it! Whether you've ridden the Guild Wheel before, or parts of it and want to explore more, all are welcome to join us for this adventure.

Starts at the official starting point - the Pavilion Cafe, Avenham Park - the ride starts promptly at 10:00am so please arrive a few minutes early to go through bike checks.
Led by British Cycling qualified ride leaders.
You will need to bring your bike, wear a helmet and comfortable clothes. You should also bring a spare inner tube in case of puncture and waterproof clothing in case of rain.
We’ll have a cafe stop but please bring snacks and water.
We want everyone to feel comfortable at their pace, we don't leave anyone behind.
