Yhtyeen kahta ensimmäistä albumia Nowhere (1990) ja Going Blank Again (1992) pidetään yleisesti koko shoegaze-genren merkittävimmistä albumeista. My Bloody Valentinen ja Slowdiven rinnalla Riden albumien merkitys nykymusiikkiin on valtava. British alternative music legend and pioneer of shoegaze and Britpop, Ride comes to Huvila for a rare gig to perform the albums Nowhere and Going Blank Again in their entirety! ? The band’s first two albums, Nowhere (1990) and Going Blank Again (1992), are widely considered the most important albums in the shoegaze genre. Alongside My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive, the impact of Ride’s albums on contemporary music is massive.
The evening begins with Finnish instrumental band Tinyhawk & Bizzarro, who released their debut album Nekorok in September 2023.
