PLEASE RSVP THAT YOU ARE ATTENDING THE RIDE AND SOCIAL. Please contact Steve Shackelford at phone# 404-213-584 or by email [email protected] to volunteer to ride as a safety rider.
The @Ride of Silence is a 5 to 10-mile free ride that asks its cyclists to ride no faster than 12 mph, wear helmets, follow the rules of the road and remain silent during the ride. There are no registration fees. The ride, which is held during National Bike Month, aims to raise the awareness of motorists, police and city officials that cyclists have a legal right to the public roadways. The ride is also a chance to show respect for and honor the lives of those who have been killed or injured.
RideWithGPS Route to be published.
This year we will remember a local cyclist - Carl Wiggers - who was struck and killed in a 2025 vehicle crash. Please wear a red jersey or other red article in his memory.
All riders must wear a helmet and sign an event participation waiver. Bike lights are requested.
Meet behind Senoia Bicycle next to the Brick Yard parking lot 6:30 for pre-ride announcements.
Ride will leave at 7:00pm.
After the ride starting at 8pm, the SouthSide Cycling Club will be hosting a social at Maguires Cork Room next door to the start location. You do not have to ride to come to the social.
