This event is held in loving memory of Sam, our beautiful boy whose time with us was heartbreakingly short. Sam was born on February 19, 2014, and passed away on April 6, 2014, suddenly and unexpectedly. He is forever loved and missed by his mum, Lesleah, and all who knew of his story.
Grief doesn’t get smaller with time. As Lesleah so eloquently writes, “Time keeps going but I promise the body keeps score.” Her words remind us that while the outside world may keep moving, but he will always be remembered. x
The "Ride for Sam" 24-hour spin-a-thon is our way of honouring Sam’s memory and supporting all families touched by loss. We’ll gather in the BVPT spin studio, riding together as teams, filling our space with movement, love, and hope. Every kilometre, every donation, and every moment shared helps provide funds to SIDS & Kids provide support to families experiencing a sudden and unexpected loss during pregnancy, infancy and childhood.
