Join us for the 10th edition of this popular and well-supported ride, held in memory of Joe Guy.Road and Gravel options.
This year, we have new ROAD routes and an exciting GRAVEL option, and we'll be using the Air Ambulance HQ in Cosford as a feed station for both disciplines.
The ride begins at Aldersley Stadium, with the first riders departing at 10 a.m. There will be two route options for Road riders, approximately 30 and 50 miles long, and one route option for Gravel riders, approximately 45 miles. All routes are undulating but manageable for most riders, with a feed station along the way.
Why a Gravel option and why now? Joe’s legacy is about passion, resilience, and the joy of every pedal stroke—whether on smooth tarmac or rough trails. For riders who crave the thrill of uncharted roads, the camaraderie of tackling tough terrain, and the chance to push themselves while supporting a cause close to all our hearts. What to Expect: • 45 miles of stunning countryside gravel trails, thoughtfully designed to challenge and inspire. Fully signed route and GPX available. • A feed station stocked and ready, with the same warm Ride for Joe hospitality • A chance to ride alongside Joe’s family, friends, and fellow adventurers — united in memory and mission • The same incredible fundraising spirit — this year, raising even more for the Air Ambulance. Who Should Ride? Whether you’re a seasoned gravel grinder or a curious newcomer, this is your call to arms. Grab your gravel bike and join us on a journey taking in some of the best local trails and paths. Enjoy the beauty of our local countryside and embark on a route that's a whopping 70% off-road, with the remaining 30% ambling along quieter local B roads. Get Ready to Ride! Spread the word. Inflate those tyres. The gravel awaits — and Joe’s legacy rides on. This is more than a ride. It’s a movement. Are you ready for the challenge?
Which ever discipline you prefer?
Joe's family members will be riding with us, too. The event will feature a staggered mass start from the stadium, and after completing the ride, participants can enjoy a lap of the Aldersley Cycle Track.
All proceeds from the event will go to the Air Ambulance. We look forward to seeing you there!
All routes, ROAD and Gravel, will be clearly marked, and we will be making the GPS available.
