Roots Explosion is a soundsystem crew from Bruges, Belgium that was founded in 2016. The crew consists of five core members with a common love for reggae music and soundsystem culture. Their main goal is to promote said culture and organize affordable and accessible dances for music lovers young and old. Roots Explosion is playing all kinds of Jamaican music, dubplates and homemade productions, with the emphasis on playing their hand built soundsystem like their predecessors used to do in the golden days of reggae music, when rub-a-dub riddims reigned the dance hall.
HIGH BASS SOUNDSYSTEM ls. Galas:
Activists on the French sound system scene since 2006, High Bass Soundsystem has been behind numerous sessions in Paris over the last 20 years, playing alongside French, British, and Jamaican selectors such as Aba Shanti-I, Nick Manasseh, and Jah Observer.
Spanning new releases, collector vinyl, dubplates, and productions from their own label and collective Upfull Posse, High Bass spins a vast selection covering 60 years of Jamaican music.
They often play with live deejays, singers and musicians. For this occasion, they will be with Galas from Italy, playing on their own sound system to provide an immersive experience in the true tradition of sound system culture.
