We are honored to welcome back Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder to Stone Mountain Arts Center for a truly special evening of music in support of Mountain Top Music, a nonprofit dedicated to enriching lives through music education and performance in our community.
A 15-time GRAMMY® Award winner, Ricky Skaggs is a living legend whose career spans more than five decades. From his early days with Ralph Stanley, to chart-topping success in country music, to his groundbreaking work preserving and elevating bluegrass, Skaggs has remained one of the most respected and influential musicians in American roots music.
Backing him is Kentucky Thunder, an extraordinary ensemble of world-class musicians known for their jaw-dropping virtuosity, tight harmonies, and deep respect for tradition. Together, they deliver performances that are electrifying, soulful, and deeply authentic—true bluegrass at its highest level.
