Exploring the Spiritual Dimensions of Astrology
Why Is It Useful to Develop a Personal Relationship with Astrology?
Looking in history’s rearview mirror helps us navigate the road ahead. Apparently, the world didn’t end in 2012. Now, astrologers are again calling this time the point of no return. Is this just another case of the “Boy Who Cried Wolf?” Or is this the real deal? Can astrology give us perspective on events of such grand magnitude? What’s a human to do? How can we minimize the risks of living in these times of such dynamic change and extreme polarization? How can we maximize the potential of this powerful cosmic moment individually and collectively?
Morning Part 1: Astrology and the New Consciousness
Throughout history, mystery schools have pierced the veil of apparent reality to extend the human mind into previously hidden realms. The study of planetary cycles has consistently been a significant part of these studies. With Rick’s guidance, we’ll explore the spiritual dimensions of astrology and consider how we can use astrology as a spiritual practice to help us exercise free will, instead of foolishly forfeiting our future to the fickle finger of fate.
Rick will discuss how cosmology, science, and spirituality weave a magic carpet tapestry that supports astrology. How does astrology work? What impact do the planetary cycles really have on our everyday lives? Is our fate written in stone in our horoscopes? Does free will even exist? What is the relationship between the cosmos and the individual? What survives death? These are all big questions… and Rick does not have the answers you might expect.
Morning Part 2: A Radical Look at Astrology, Reincarnation, ET, and Ascension
Death and birth. Disincarnation and reincarnation. Across cultures, the cycle of returning is viewed with reverence, skepticism, or awe—but wherever we stand, the mysteries of rebirth contain truths that stretch beyond our expectations. What if the familiar story of “ascension” is only half of the picture?
We’ll explore Mercury’s role as psychopomp, along with Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto’s roles in the reincarnation cycle; insights from The Tibetan Book of the Dead and the Bardo states; and the entheogenic breakthroughs of Timothy Leary and Ram Dass. We’ll look at the intersections of depth psychology, hypnosis, and past-life regression—asking how these diverse threads illuminate the great mystery of being.
Together, we’ll question and explore what it means to live with “consciousness con carne”—spirit made flesh, and flesh infused with the cosmos.
Afternoon Part 1: An Astrological Update for 2026-2030
We can’t know where we’re going until we know where we are! This session is a rollercoaster ride through the cycles of history and the cosmic currents shaping our future. Using clear, accessible astrological techniques, Rick will locate us on the great timeline of change and reveal what lies ahead in the turbulent years to come. From the revolutionary energies of the 1960s, through the seismic shocks of 9/11 and the transformative quarantine of 2020, to the unfolding paradigm shifts of 2025–2028, we will explore how planetary cycles of Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto resonate across decades—and why they matter now more than ever.
Is humanity facing another false alarm of impending doom, or are we on the cusp of a genuine evolutionary leap? With wit, depth, and a touch of cosmic mischief, Rick will unpack astrology’s perspective on global upheaval, technological breakthroughs, higher dimensions, and the dissolving boundary between the visible and invisible worlds. Discover how looking in history’s rearview mirror can help us navigate the uncertain road ahead and why this moment may hold the seeds of the collective awakening of humanity.
Afternoon Part 2: A Pocketful of Planets
Personalizing the Planets to Positively Impact Our Daily Lives
Each planet is like a special agent with special skills. With a little practice, we can learn how to call forth the right planet at the right time to help you through tricky situations. The astrological planets are like imaginary superheroes who are ready to jump into real situations on our behalf. It might seem like magic, but the planets in our pocket become powerful secret weapons once we take the time to learn their secrets.
