The Garden District Book Shop is thrilled to announce that renowned local fine art and media photographer Richard Sexton will be at the shop on November 14 to discuss and sign copies of his latest book New Orleans: A Photo Guide to the Wild Mélange.
A perfect gift for the holiday season, New Orleans: A Photo Guide to the Wild Mélange is a playful and at times irreverent homage to the “northernmost Caribbean city,” one of many monikers for New Orleans.
The rollicking photo essay is complemented by insightful and at times quirky observations and recommendations from noted contributors. The festivities will kick off at 6:00 PM. Sexton will then give a presentation on his book and then open up the floor for a Q&A. Afterwards, he will be available to mingle with guests and personalize copies of his book. The event is free and open to the public and books can be reserved ahead of time on Eventbrite.
