Broad Community Connections and People’s Housing Plus are working togethering to support housing stewardship along the Broad Street neighborhoods: Seventh Ward, Treme, MidCity, Lafitte, Tulane-Gravier and the Fairgrounds. The first workshop is intended to provide knowledge to local homeowners of existing and forthcoming resources and to reduce the burdens of ownership in the midst of rising property taxes, insurances and increasing climate challenges.
People’s Housing Plus' mission is to foster multigenerational wealth to combat systemic racism. Their vision is an equitable resident-led city where every family can afford to live, work and thrive for generations to come. PH+ brings together more than 40 years of collective experience in New Orleans that have created hundreds of affordable housing units and provided thousands of clients with financial wellness and homebuyer counseling.
