The Richard Russell Group offers a unique blend of musical styles ranging form Indian classical ragas ambient instrumentals and vocals that include sacred chants (kirtan) and original songs. Led by sarod player singer and composer Richard Russell the group creates a sound that uplifts and transports the listener. Featured artists include international world music drummer Anil Prasad on tabla Orchestral composer/director Matt Weiss on cello and Seattle's own Aureole Lighten on vocals. Tickets are $20 online and $25 at the door. Blosm the concert venue is a yoga studio with a welcoming space but limited chairs.
