About this Event
From May 7 to May 23, 2026, the Milan gallery will host a selection of works in the spaces at Via Nerino 1, centered on the figure of the Kong, alongside other emblematic animals from Orlinski’s artistic production: powerful, immediate, and visually striking sculptures that reflect on the instinctive nature of human beings and the subtle boundary between civilization and the primordial dimension.
Orlinski’s Kongs, inspired by the iconography of King Kong, are a symbol of the concept of “Born Wild.” The artist explores the impulses underlying human violence. Believing that the beauty of art can soothe instincts, he strives for aesthetic perfection. In his hands, the Kongs become true contemporary icons—figures that express strength, energy, and tension, while also revealing a deeper and more universal dimension. Through these works, the artist invites the public to question who is truly the wildest: man or beast.
The exhibition presents new, unseen variations of the Kongs—unique works never shown before—characterized by a strong reference to pop and street culture. Vibrant colors, faceted surfaces, and a direct visual language transform these sculptures into contemporary symbols capable of engaging a broad and international audience.
Alongside the Kongs, a selection of other iconic animals completes the exhibition path, creating a coherent and distinctive universe in which pop aesthetics, accessibility, and reflection coexist.
Come meet the artist only from 5:30 to 6:30 PM.
