About this Event

This November Hi Money will unveil the findings of Rich in Context — a world-first research project spanning Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia, exploring the social and cultural factors that shape financial wellbeing across all genders.

The panel event will bring together leaders from finance, psychology, and insights research to unpack what this research means for product design, policy development, and the future of financial literacy.

Angela Meyer

Angela Meyer is a consultant and entrepreneur dedicated to driving radical positive change. She helps organisations create commercially successful and socially conscious solutions, with a particular focus on unlocking the power of women as a global economic force. Angela is the co-founder of Project Gender, EttieKits, and Hi Money, and also works as a Gender Equity Specialist at Mercer NZ.



Rachel Davies

Rachel Davies is a therapist and leadership coach who helps individuals and groups unlock their potential using transformative therapeutic tools. She co-founded Hi Money with Angela Meyer to support women in exploring, understanding, and reshaping their relationship with money. With over a decade of training in bioenergetic psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, and the creative arts, including study at the Esalen Institute in California, Rachel brings a holistic and practical approach to personal and professional growth.



Tania Domett

Tania Domett is a researcher and policy analyst passionate about using evidence to help businesses make informed decisions and strengthen communities. She has extensive experience in research design, survey development, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and facilitating interviews and focus groups. Tania is a skilled communicator, adept at presenting complex insights to diverse audiences, and is the founding director of Cogo Research.



Katie Bhreatnach

Katie Bhreatnach is an experienced business leader passionate about the empowerment and advancement of wāhine and Māori. She has a global perspective gleaned from experience studying and working overseas, coupled with a passion and drive for innovating for a strong, successful, and sustainable Aotearoa for all of its people.

Her executive career is marked by commercial breadth across diverse sectors including financial services, FMCG, manufacturing, infrastructure, technology, and aviation. An experienced Director and chartered member of the Institute of Directors, Katie’s directorships have included Dunedin International Airport, Global Women, AMP, Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, College of Law, Chair of Trusts Arena Stadium, and Chair of St Mary’s College in Ponsonby.


With memberships from GW and Empower Women, alongside Chief Executives from across the financial sector in the room, this event aims to spark conversations that can directly influence industry practice and systemic change.O
