About this Event
PANA is excited to announce that we’ve purchased 2.2 acres of land on University Ave in Mid-City! We’re working with community partners and residents to develop the Refugee & Immigrant Cultural Hub (RICH) at the Chollas Triangle.
RICH will support the needs of our families now and for future generations by creating affordable housing, commercial space for small businesses, and civic space for community-based orgs and events.
On December 9th, 2023 we organized a Community Visioning Workshop with over 300 residents and 13 nonprofit partners which was simultaneously interpreted in 7 languages.
Join us for Community Visioning Workshop # 2 on Saturday, May 11th from 1pm to 5pm. Participants will be able to shape the architectural design of the RICH site.
The event is taking place in the Crawford High Gym. Enter through the east-side of the campus at 5601 Spartan Drive, San Diego, CA 92115
Free lunch will be provided from 1pm to 1:30pm. Interepretation will be available in Somali, Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Oromo, and Spanish. To request interpretation in additional languages or ask a question please contact PANA staff:
