The RIBA South West and Wessex Awards celebration is a fantastic opportunity for members, their design teams, and the wider built environment community to come together, celebrate achievements, and enjoy networking in a unique and inspiring setting.

About RIBA Regional Awards
Judged and presented locally, RIBA Regional Awards celebrate excellence in architecture across the UK.
Successful projects reflect changes and innovations in architecture, but at their core display a commitment to designing and developing buildings and spaces for the improvement and enhancement of people’s lives.

About Bath Spa University, Locksbrook Campus
Bath Spa University’s Locksbrook Campus is an innovative site inviting collaboration across disciplines, housing technical workshops surrounded by flexible studio spaces and large social areas for students, staff and visitors.
The Grade II listed building designed by Sir Nicholas Grimshaw in 1976 was formerly the Herman Miller factory until it was bought by the University in 2016. Following a period of refurbishment by Grimshaw Architects, the building was transformed into Bath Spa’s Locksbrook Campus and was formally opened in 2020.
Locksbrook Campus is multi award-winning including RIBA Regional and National Awards.

This is a welcoming, celebratory event. We encourage you to embrace your personal style, dressing in any way you feel comfortable and enables you to express your authentic self or an outfit you’ve been waiting for a special occasion to wear.
Travel details
Driving
Bath clean air zone (CAZ) Cars and motorbikes are not charged in Bath’s CAZ, regardless of the emissions they produce. However, commercial vehicles such as taxis and private hire vehicles have to pay.
Parking
Parking at Locksbrook Campus is limited.
The nearest and most reliable public car park is at Newbridge Park and Ride (Newbridge Road, Bath BA1 3NB).
Bus
The U3 service takes you from the centre of Bath to Newton Park. Locksbrook Campus is just a short walk from the Burnham Road bus stop.
The U5 service runs on a loop from Newton Park towards Windsor Bridge. Its route passes close to Locksbrook Campus.
Train
Oldfield Park station is about a 15 minute walk from Locksbrook Campus.
Bath Spa mainline station is about 11 minute taxi ride from the Campus.
Bike
The Bristol to Bath cycle path runs alongside Locksbrook Campus.

From 5:30pm – The evening begins with welcome drinks and a South West–inspired canapé reception, setting the tone for a special night of celebration.
6:30pm – The Awards Ceremony, where we come together to recognise and celebrate this year’s outstanding projects and practices.
A full programme will be shared shortly.
From 8:15pm - Following the ceremony, the celebrations continue with an after-party at The Locksbrook Inn (just a short walk from Locksbrook Campus), with drinks and a buffet as we raise a glass to the 2026 awards and the people behind them. Further details to follow.
Terms and Conditions
A photographer will cover this event and the images may be used to publicise future RIBA events.
By accepting an invitation or purchasing a ticket you consent to be photographed, filmed, or recorded as a visitor attending the event.
Cancellations must be made in writing to [email protected], no refunds can be made for cancellations notified within 30 days of the event, latest notification date is 7 April 2026.
To transfer your ticket/s to another individual/s, please contact [email protected]. Tickets are to be transferred at least 14 days prior to the event. Complimentary tickets are strictly non-transferable.
If the RIBA has to postpone or cancel the event the booker is entitled to a full refund of the ticket price only.
On entry to the event, you agree to accept and abide by any venue rules.
The RIBA reserves the right to refuse admission to any ticket holder.
