Calling all would have been NBA players who didn't quite make it that far...If you are 50 or older (men) or 45 and older (women), join the RI Senior Games and show off your basketball skills, both on the court on our 3 vs. 3 tournament and also our newly added Skills Challenge. This will be a Free Throw shooting contest and 3 point shooting competition. Hit the Court at the RI Senior Games Basketball Tournament!

📅 Men: Saturday 5/30/26, Women: 5/31/26 – 8:00 AM Start
ALL SKILL LEVELS WELCOME!
Men’s and Women's 3-on-3 half-court format – guaranteed 3 games!
Men and Women's Shooting Skills:
• Free Throw Challenge: 25 consecutive free throws
• 3-Point Shootout: 15 shots total (3 shots from 5 spots)
Open to out-of-state athletes aged 50+, with medals awarded in 5-year age groups starting at age 50 for men, starting at age 45 for women (45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 … 90+).
💸 $180 per team for tournament (paid by captain), $10 per player for shooting skills competition
🏅 Gold, Silver & Bronze in every bracket
⏱ Check-in opens at 8:00 AM, game starts at 8:30 with shooting skills competitions to follow games (approx. 11:15 AM)
