About Ri$ky
Better known by his stage name RI$KY, he is an American multi genre recording artist and songwriter who was born in South Carolina and raised in Hawaii. He gained attention in 2014 with his first debut mixtape "The Wait is Over" and since then was known for releasing several successful mix tapes, EP's and has achieved millions of digital streams during his evolving music career. Growing up, Ri$ky’s first connection with music was shuffling through his uncle and grandfather’s inspiring collection of classic raps and soul LPs. Gravitating to artist like Nas, RI$KY has since been diligent in perfecting his craft and growing his fanbase with consistent projects relating to overcoming homelessness, depressive breakup's, betrayal & the risk that come with success.
Ri$ky has developed a bohemian sound that can best be compared to the festive vibes of the modern era with the lyrical spirit and mood of Reggae, Country and Hip-Hop.
He recently released his latest project "Apologize Later" early winter 2019 featuring popular song "In Denial City" landing as one of his highest streaming tracks on Spotify. This was a strong follow up from his "Rolling Stone" project of August 2018, featuring his hit single’s Legit, I Don't Like Rappers, Switch Up and 1 Thing About Me. As a disciplined and focused artist, he has all the fundamental pieces for an internationally acclaimed artist that makes music that hits all senses and makes souls jump!
