This is Rhythms of Return, an immersive night of participatory music, movement, and multimedia expression celebrating the sounds, traditions, and creative spirit of the African Diaspora.
Led by Liz Ikamba and collaborators as part of the Diaspora Stories project, the night brings together artists, dancers, and communities rooted in or inspired by African diasporic traditions and fusions. We explore how rhythm, voice, and motion hold memories of migration and belonging - shaping new identities that echo across bodies, generations, and geographies.
Expect a global sonic journey of tropical soul, deep grooves, and pure rhythm. Through live performance, interactive moments, and collective joy, we invite you to be part of the experience - not just a spectator, but as part of the story.
