About this Event
DESEO CARMIN is thrilled to present its original musical, "Frida Flamenca," at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art! This unique production is inspired by the paintings and writings from Frida Kahlo's diary, offering a vibrant blend of music, dance, and poetry with a flamenco twist.
"The deep, gutsy art and unconventional life of Frida Kahlo will inspire music, dance, and 'poetic fantasy' at this fusion flamenco concert by the musicians and performers of Deseo Carmin." - The Stranger
Over the years, DESEO CARMIN has collaborated with renowned artists and designers to bring this beautiful production to life. Notable collaborators include painter Alfredo Arreguin, whose work is in BIMA's collection, and fashion designer Paul Medina.
