Rhythm of Drawing: Free Observational Drawing Workshop
Fabian Perez Gallery is pleased to host Rhythm of Drawing, a free observational drawing workshop taking place on March 7, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 PM, at the Fabian Perez Gallery on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.
This workshop is presented as an extension of Fabian Perez: Sounds of Passion, celebrating the relationship between rhythm, movement, and visual expression. Participants will be invited to explore observational drawing in a relaxed, painterly way that encourages personal interpretation and creative flow.
Open to all ages, this non guided workshop is especially welcoming to high school and college students, as well as emerging artists seeking a supportive space to practice and connect. The gallery will be set up with chairs and guitar seating to create an intimate studio-style environment.
The gallery will provide white copy paper and standard pencils. Participants are encouraged to bring their own complete set of materials if desired, including inks, charcoal, paints, sketchbooks, or digital tools such as an iPad.
Join us in the gallery as a third space—a place to meet fellow artists, exchange ideas, and create together within the inspiring atmosphere of Fabian Perez’s work.
