Mike Bledsoe is returning to the bay area with Housebroken's highly successful monthly event series RHYTHM METHOD at a kickoff party on the rooftop of Mad Oak near Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA featuring a house music tastemakers palate that would deserve a Michelin star!This one-off daytime dance party is the jump off point before Housebroken dives across the bay and takes RHYTHM METHOD back into the San Francisco nightlife every 1st Saturday night of the month beginning in November, and will combine world class Chicago house headliners with local legends each and every ovulation.

JEVON JACKSON - Chicago
After starting to DJ at the tender age of 12 years old, Jevon Jackson became a firm believer and proponent of “the art of the DJ”. With his professional career starting in 1990, he soon got his first residency at the now legendary Red Dog nightclub. His career soon sky-rocketed with subsequent residencies at several well-known Chicago clubs such as Shelter, Voyeur, Smart Bar, Crobar, Zentra, Betty’s Blue Star Lounge, Liquid Kitty, Le Passage, Super Lounge as well as stints at Mad Bar and Harry’s Velvet Room which coupled his DJ skills with the added responsibilities of talent buyer and manager; and that’s only in Chicago. Mr. Jackson has also held residencies in St. Louis at Velvet and Viva; in Milwaukee at Mars Hotel and Matisse; in the D.C. area at Red, Pangaea, and Paradox; in New York at the Mondavi Wine Bar; in San Francisco at 111 Minna; and in Paris, France at Le Bus Palladium, La Scène, La Câge Aux Folles, and La Queen.
Jevon’s love for music has also taken his career outside the world of the traditional club environment. Jevon Jackson has also played nearly 400 Raves from Nebraska to Ohio in front of crowds that numbered in thousands, served as the label head for Slang Music Group/King Street Sounds and appeared on the classic Slang Recordings track “House Music” with fellow veterans Farley “Jackmaster” Funk, Felix da Housecat, and Vince Lawrence, as well as produced several unreleased remixes for Poi Dog Pondering.
Jevon Jackson is one of the most inspired, musically connected and deeply practiced djs you will ever come across. With a career spanning almost three decades, Mike Bledsoe has been called a natural selection among many other names. While DJ, promoter, producer, and partier are all accurate titles they only serve to pigeonhole an artist who has spent his entire career shunning labels. Some may use the term renaissance man, but perhaps purveyor of all things electronic would be more accurate. A shapeshifting performer with strong genre-bending capabilities, Mike is equally adept at providing pumping house beats, after-hours techie vibes, and bass heavy breakbeats to crowds from Cape Town, South Africa to LA. Well established in the international underground electronic music community, Mike has uplifted crowds in 2 continents and 26 US states alone. He currently holds DJ residencies with Housebroken in Chicago and with DTLA First Sundays in Los Angeles, and he has released tunes on Fresh & Paid Records (Denver) and Subwoofer Laboratories (Berlin).

RoseRed is an up and coming Producer/DJ/Vocalist based out of Chicago, IL. Discovering her passion for music at a very early age, Rose’s first influences were rooted in the sounds of latin, jazz, disco, funk, R&B, and gospel music just to name a few.
She got her start in 2000 at the age of 19 after meeting and befriending a group of local DJ’s that played house music throughout the Chicago area. Taking her out to experience many different house music events and clubs, the energy on the dance floor and the uplifting spirit within the house community left a lasting impression on her. Rose was inspired by the funky, jazzy rhythms and driving jacking beats and soon she began visiting local record shops and began growing her own music collection, curating a unique sound that was inspired by mixes and productions from heavy hitters like Paul Johnson, Derrick Carter, Cajmere, Mark Farina, Lego, DJ Dan, DJ Jes and the Super Jane’s just to name a few.
Within a year of getting her start, Rose began gaining attention from promoters and DJ’s alike and began playing at venues across the Chicago area, landing her first residency in Wrigleyville where she ambitiously honed her skills and began making a name for herself within the house scene. Since then, she has continued captivating audiences across the Chicago area and globe and graced the decks with some of Chicago’s hottest DJ’s and producers at some of Chicago’s most popular venues. Her unique sound blends elements of house music that range from soulful, groovy vocals to driving jackin, latin, afro, and tech house beats and everything in between. Alongside her many live appearances, you can also catch her regularly as a resident with Housebroken Events, on DaBooth312 Radio 88.9FM, DJ International Radio, and Esmeralda’s Caribbean Cocktail Lounge.
In an effort to expand her body of work as a musician, in 2022 RoseRed delved into music production, where she quickly caught the attention of some of Chicago’s most prolific house producers and label owners. February 2023 saw her releasing her first EP “Our World” on one of the most well-known house music labels S&S Records with Steve “Silk” Hurley and Shannon “DJ Skip” Syas. “Our World” has been received with great reviews and support from many producers and DJ’s within the house community, and she is currently working with some of Chicago’s heavy hitters to bring more of her unique productions to a dancefloor near you.

Avery aka Moray Rivers, was born into her love of music. As a beach bum in Santa Cruz her father would play an instrument he could get his hands on! A constant flow of classic rock albums on the record player and dancing in the living room helped shape her musical heart. Picking up drum sticks early on and making sounds with her own hands changed everything. From there it was a long bunch of years before DJing would come into play, but the music never stopped. It was a constant. DJing came about on accident. A move to San Francisco in her late 20s and accidentally moving in with a wonderfully talented dj turned into her going to local shows and meeting the amazing group of friends, most of whom are djs, turned into DJing lessons, turned into a love of mixing, and the culture.

Geo Stasi is a Mexican/Italian Dj producer who grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, the home of the Funk. Spinning music has always been part of this hybrid Dj's life, deeply rooted and drawing inspiration from such diverse genres as Funk, Disco, R&B, Soul, Freestyle and Hip Hop. He initially garnered exposure by joining local production crew Funk Lab Productions in the late 90's, doing both Hip Hop & underground dance parties. By 1999 he had gained experience spinning House music that eventually earned him recognition in the underground community. In 2000, he went on as part of the "Brown Sugar" party with longtime friend J-Funk and played with Roy Davis Jr, Johnny Fiasco, David Harness, Julius Papp, Dj Pierre, Miguel Migs and Gene Farris to name a few. Today he is one of the longest running resident Dj's at the Cardiff & Cocktails, a South Bay staple for House music. In 2016, he became a resident Dj for the Sunday Bliss party in Oakland, CA. With a wide range of styles along with his signature deep & disco underground sound, he always keeps the crowd going, setting a fresh new vibe. As of 2018, he is the founder of Flamingo Funk Musique.
