Rhythm & Roots is a joyful Saturday morning series for children ages 3–8 and their caregivers at the Jefferson School African American Heritage Center. Rooted in African American arts, music, and storytelling traditions, each gathering invites our youngest community members to sing, move, create, and explore together. Through rhythm, story, and hands-on making, Rhythm & Roots nurtures belonging, creativity, and the power of small voices to shape something new.
