Initially too shy to reveal his identity, a few months later he stepped forward and announced his first official charity concert at Truro Cathedral.
Since then, Rhys has raised more than £25,000 for homeless and mental‑health charities, secured a record deal and was recently named South West Fundraiser of the Year at the Pride of Britain Awards!
