Featuring:
BRONSTON JONES
Bronston Jones is a world traveling stand-up comedian and award winning director. Bronston performs stand-up from coast-to-coast and across-the-pond. For a decade, he was resident host of Venice Underground Comedy, LA’s biggest independent weekly show. Bronston has done the Edinburgh Fringe for seven summers. Do people find him funny? Some critics loved him. Some hated him. LA Weekly called him “certifiably unique,” which goes either way. You probably missed him on CMT, WEtv and TruTV, and shouldn’t watch or listen to his special “She Has to Take this Call” on Amazon. He apologizes if you did. He’s been on NBC, CMT and was a Bad Egg for Animals Australia. As a director, Bronston created hit videos for Darius Rucker and Uncle Kracker. He shot award-winning spots for the Summer & Winter Olympics on NBC. Bronston has worked with TV stars & drivers of NASCARs, plus wild rockers & serious talkers, and also two actors with Oscars. Bronston’s favorite shoot was a behind-the-scenes mockumentary of a clown-and-kid commercial: “MaxiDoodles: behind the makeup.” This festival darling skewered the Ad Biz, then, right on-brand, generated more Ad Work than all his big budget spots combined.
