Join the Anacostia Trails Heritage Area and the National Capital Trolley Museum for an event to learn about the Streetcar lines that ran from the Treasury Building in D.C., through our Prince George’s County communities, all the way to Laurel. Participants will be invited to take a 1.4-mile walking tour of the “missing segment” of the Rhode Island Avenue Trolley Trail from Charles Armentrout Drive in Hyattsville through North Brentwood, Brentwood and Mount Rainier to showcase the many cultural and economic assets that would benefit from a better connection at the pedestrian level along Route 1.
