Celebrate the turning of the seasons and the vibrant energy of Beltane with the Rhizome Rising Network of New Orleans! This gathering is a unique opportunity to connect with kindred spirits, honor the land and ancestors, and explore the ancient art of poppet-making. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or simply curious about magic and community, this event welcomes all who come with respect and an open heart.

We will begin gathering at 10:30AM, the ritual begins at 11AM.

• Ritual & Reflection: Gather under the shade of a majestic oak to honor the spirits of the land and ancestors with a grounding ritual.
• Shared Meal: Bring a dish for our potluck picnic! Enjoy food, conversation, and laughter as we build connections over a shared table.
• Poppet-Making Workshop: Learn the history and craft of poppets, weaving intention and spirit into your creation. Explore their roots in ancient traditions and their special place in New Orleans' spiritual tapestry.
• Beltane Celebration: Members of The Torch will lead us in a joyful Beltane ceremony, marking the season of fertility, abundance, and creativity.

This isn’t just a workshop—it’s a day to activate community magic. Together, we’ll celebrate resilience, interconnectedness, and the power we hold when we come together. In these challenging times, let’s allow radical hope to flourish.
