Join us for a free evening performance delivered by Rhapsody Chorus an enthusiastic friendly group of women who enjoy singing a cappella (unaccompanied) 4-part harmony. Book your tickets through Eventbrite.
The 4-part chorus is made up of a Lead – this often takes the melody of the song Bass – the lowest harmony line and the driving force of the chorus Tenor – the highest harmony line sung above the melody and Baritone – a rich harmony line that moves above and below the melody. Bringing them together is the Musical Director who shapes and develops the sound expression and performance.
Whilst the heart of Rhapsody is friendship and the enjoyment of singing they also like to perform and compete and have recently won the Ladies Barbershop Class at the North Northampton Music Festival. Last year they competed at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod and have just returned from the annual convention competition in Bournemouth meeting up with over 30 other choruses from around the UK.
