Join us for a special neighborhood gathering at the beautiful, historic Monte Vista home of Mr. Abe and Mrs. Dina Juarez as we join with Rey Feo LXXVII, Dr. Damaso A. Oliva, Jr., and his Royal Court in support of scholarships for local students.
Rey Feo in the Neighborhood II is a warm, intimate gathering designed to bring friends, supporters, and community leaders together around a shared purpose—passing the torch of knowledge to light the path to a brighter future.
Guests will enjoy meaningful conversation, fellowship, and a relaxed neighborhood atmosphere while directly supporting the mission of the Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation. Every contribution made through this event helps open doors of opportunity for students across San Antonio.

The Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering San Antonio’s youth through education. Inspired by the legend of El Rey Feo—a figure chosen by the people to challenge the elite—the foundation was established in 1947 to fund scholarships for local students. Since then, it has awarded over $10 million in scholarships to more than 7,000 deserving recipients.
Rey Feo 77, Damaso, proudly continues this legacy. With a lifelong commitment to learning and community service, he serves as a goodwill ambassador—visiting schools, raising awareness, and inspiring the next generation to reach higher and dream bigger.
As part of Fiesta Royalty, Rey Feo and his fellow royals, Reina Feria de las Flores and Reina Linda, promote education, celebrate San Antonio’s heritage, and support students through hands-on outreach and fundraising efforts. Together, we’re creating a brighter future—one student at a time.
