About this Event
Rewind Trauma Therapy Training
Date: Saturday 15th November
Time: 9.30am - 4.30pm
Location: Focus Counselling, 36 Gay St, Bath, BA1 2NT
Rewind Trauma Therapy was developed by Dr David Muss (founder of
International Association of Rewind Trauma Therapy) and first introduced into the literature of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder back in 1991 in the British Journal of Clinical Psychology 1991.
A very simple and yet powerful therapy, which has proved highly successful with those who have experienced trauma and is now proving successful with phobias.
It is easily learnt; applicable to survivors' trans culturally and usually requires no more than two sessions to bring about closure for single traumas. Research has shown that the results are enduring.
Unlike other imaginal exposure
therapies, no details are disclosed to the therapist. The treatment is known as
"closure without disclosure". The benefits of non-disclosure are numerous.
