Be a Citizen Archivist!Join Blackstone River Valley National Historical Park and North Smithfield Heritage Association for a series of free evening programs this fall. Hosted from 6-7:30 PM at Heritage Hall, 101 Greene St., North Smithfield, RI. Open to all, no registration is required.
Participants will learn about the value of pensions from the War for Independence. Rangers will talk about these sources and teach participants how to transcribe records (available online) from the National Archives. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet for typing records. WiFi will be available for all.
