About this Event
What can a story about animals teach us about how societies work? In this 5-week reading club, teens and tweens will explore Animal Farm by George Orwell. Each week, readers will read two chapters at home then come to the library to dive into the themes of the book. Through guided discussions, participants will connect ideas like leadership, fairness, propaganda, and power to current events in the U.S. and around the world in an age-appropriate, thoughtful way. Hosted by Keturah Abdullah. Mondays June 29th-July 27th @ 3pm for ages 11-18.
