About this Event
About the Event:
If you're looking to hang out in a third space with fellow creatives and experiment with writing, this is a workshop for you. Whether you’re returning to the page after some time away or finding yourself stalled by perfectionism, this is an invitation to begin again, in good company.
Participants will be led through various text-based prompts to inspire written pieces. "Poetry" is a loose term here! These prompts involve engaging techniques to quell writers block without the intimidation of perfectionism. Even for those who do not primarily identify as poets, working with language as material can open new conceptual pathways across disciplines!
Sharing is optional. There will be dedicated time at the end for those who would like to share any of their pieces with the group. Supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own writing utensils and paper if preferred.
*Please arrive before 6 so we can begin on time.
