This comprehensive 4-part series is designed to empower individuals to move confidently and recover efficiently. Led by Dr. Funk each workshop will focus on key principles of injury prevention and rehabilitation, combining expert knowledge with practical exercises.
Each workshop will be followed up with an easy pace 5K run along the beautiful Capital Crescent Trail with our lululemon Run Ambassadors Kathy Coburn and James Ahn!
Each session in this 4-part series will delve into a specific area of human anatomy and physiology, offering targeted insights and practical strategies for injury prevention and recovery.
Workshop 1 (October 27 @ 9:00 AM): Focus on the foot, ankle, and calf – foundational for balance and mobility
Workshop 2 (November 3 @ 9:00 AM): Strengthen and protect the knee and quads – key to lower body stability
Workshop 3 (November 10 @ 9:00 AM): Optimize the hip and hip flexors – essential for powerful and pain-free movement
Workshop 4 (November 17 @ 9:00 AM): Fortify the core and lower back – crucial for posture and injury resilience
