ReVitalyz is NAPA’s specialist training programme designed to equip learners with the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver safe, inclusive and engaging seated physical activity sessions for people with a wide range of mobility levels and physical abilities.

This practical course supports Activity Providers, care teams and wellbeing staff to lead seated movement sessions that are safe, enjoyable and meaningful. These sessions help individuals stay active, improve mobility and enhance overall wellbeing.

On successful completion of the course participants will receive the NAPA Certificate in Seated Physical Activity, valid for 2 years.

About the Programme

ReVitalyz focuses on practical and inclusive approaches to seated physical activity that can be delivered safely within care settings.

Participants will explore how to adapt activities for individuals with different physical abilities, including those with limited mobility, joint stiffness and other physical challenges.

The programme provides practical knowledge and skills that can immediately be used in care homes, day services and other care environments to support people to move more, feel better and stay connected.


Gain the confidence and practical skills to lead safe, inclusive seated physical activity sessions in care settings.

Course Aim

The aim of this programme is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to facilitate safe and engaging seated physical activity sessions adapted to individuals with varying levels of mobility and physical ability.

The programme promotes inclusive practice, prioritises individual safety and supports overall wellbeing.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course participants will be able to:

• Explain the importance of inclusive physical activity for individuals with diverse physical abilities and limitations
• Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate techniques and safety considerations when facilitating seated physical activity
• Adapt physical activity sessions to support individuals with limited mobility, joint stiffness and other physical challenges
• Identify and deliver a range of seated activities that support muscle strength, circulation and joint mobility

Certification is valid for 2 years.
