About this Event
Workshop Description:
Nonprofit leaders are being asked to do more with less—while relying on funding models that were fragile even before recent economic shifts. This workshop is designed for executive directors, development staff, and board members who recognize that sustainability is not accidental; it is built deliberately.
Participants will examine the full revenue ecosystem of a healthy nonprofit and learn how to move beyond overdependence on a single funding source. The session focuses on practical, field-tested strategies to diversify revenue through individual giving, institutional support, partnerships, and earned income—without burning out staff or boards.
The workshop will address why many fundraising efforts underperform, how to align fundraising strategy with organizational mission and capacity, and what high-functioning boards actually do to support revenue generation. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of where their organization’s revenue is vulnerable, where opportunity exists, and how to take immediate steps toward greater financial resilience.
Participants will gain clarity on:
- Building a diversified revenue model that reduces risk and increases predictability
- Engaging board members as effective ambassadors and revenue partners (without asking them to “fundraise” blindly)
- Identifying partnership and earned-revenue opportunities aligned with mission
- Strengthening internal systems to support sustainable fundraising growth
This is a strategic reset for organizations serious about long-term impact—not another collection of fundraising tactics, but a roadmap for financial durability.
