Downtown Classic & Collector Car Cruise – Coming to Lake City!Our Place, Halpatter's, Marion Street Bistro and The Tavern on Marion are teaming up to launch a MONTHLY Downtown Classic & Collector Car Cruise!
We’re bringing car culture to Downtown with an evening built for automotive enthusiasts and spectators alike. Expect:
🎶 Live music at 4pm and 7pm at Halpatter's
🏆 Best-in-show award for two categories: ANTIQUE (1995 and older) and NEW MAKES (1996 to present)
👠 Pin-up girl contest with winner awarded "Ms Rev-Up Pin-Up"
📸 Photo sessions with the cars
🍔 Great food & cold craft beer
🚘 Tons of classic and collector vehicles
The event will take place around Halpatter Brewing Company’s outdoor bar and the parking lot across from the Darby Pavilion.
Our goal is to capture the nostalgia and excitement of the classic Bel-Air Plaza cruise nights in Daytona that so many of us remember from the Daytona Turkey Rod Run era.
Our FIRST SHOW is April 4th!
Whether you have a classic car, hot rod, muscle car, or just love seeing them, we invite you to join us for a fun evening in Downtown Lake City. Let’s build something awesome for the car community!
DETAILS FOR DRIVERS:
If you want your car to participate in the contest, park at the Darby Pavilion parking lot and register your car at Our Place between 3-5pm. Cars will receive a number, place that number so it is visible for the public. Registration gets you discounts at each participating location, so stop in at each location to redeem your discount. YOU DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER TO PARK, but if your car does not have a number, you cannot participate in the best-in-show awards. Awards and winners will be announced at Halpatter's stage at 8pm. You must be present to claim your award. A photographer will be walking around capturing you and your car.
DETAILS FOR THE PUBLIC:
Car show will be held in the parking lot by the Darby Pavilion. If you want to vote on your favorite car in each category, stop by any participating location to pick up a voting card. There are two categories: antique and new makes. Cars will be marked with numbers and the category to make voting easy! Drop off your votes by 7:30pm at Halpatter's Garage Bar. Winners will be announced at 8pm.
DETAILS FOR PIN-UP GIRLS:
The pin-up girl contest will be held at 6pm, right at the end of the first band! Before the contest begins, take a photo with a classic car right inside of Halpatter's biergarten and then let the public decide on who should be named Ms Rev-Up Pin-Up!
SOCIAL MEDIA HASHTAGS:
If you want to receive 10% off your tab at Halpatter's, take a photo of your favorite car and tag #revuplakecity. Show it to a bartender to redeem your discount!
