Reusing, reinventing and reimagining clothing - a workshop with the emphasis on embellishment
In this workshop Anna will take you through the process of embellishing and reinventing clothes.
You will learn about planning and practical application, with suggestions, support and examples.
Your sewing skills can be from non-existent to more than competent!
Please bring as much or as little of the following:
- Haberdashery
- Clothing
- Inspirational pictures /magazines. (for your own use or for sharing)
Anna will also provide all of the above as well!
Anna Fraenkel has been making with textiles most of her life. A professional soft furnishing maker for the last 25 years, she is passionate about producing and exploring ideas of reimagined, wacky and wearable clothing.
This workshop is part of 2024. Come and connect with others to work on projects and grow enterprises that reuse textiles, save carbon and landfill and increase our wellbeing.
- Please arrive promptly for the start at 3pm
- Hot and cold drinks and biscuits available for free.
- The Town Hall is fully accessible (lift to first floor) with accessible toilets.
