About this Event
Join Cave Canem for its 30th anniversary in the city of Pittsburgh—its second home! Guest Poet, Rita Dove, and Faculty member, Matthew Shenoda, join Cofounders, Toi Derricotte and Cornelius Eady, in a celebration of everything that Cave Canem set out to be in 1996 and has become. Among the poetry will be the memories and anecdotes drawn from the more than 500 Fellows, 1,000 workshop participants, and dozens of prize-winners whose artistic practice has benefited from years of support and advocacy for Black poets.
